Akron's Gay Pride Picnic - A Tradition for Over 10 YearsFor years the Akron gay community has gathered annually to support the Pride Center. Last year we were able to donate over $6,000 to local charities including individual contributions of $2,500 to the Battered Women's Shelter of Summit & Medina Counties and Violet's Cupboard. This year, we continue this annual tradition of celebrating our Pride, and our community's diversity. Please join us in supporting the gay community's charities along with all of their friends and family members.
