Akron's Gay Pride Picnic - A Tradition for Over 10 YearsFor years the Akron gay community has gathered annually to support the Pride Center. Last year we were able to donate over $6,000 to local charities including individual contributions of $2,500 to the Battered Women's Shelter of Summit & Medina Counties and Violet's Cupboard. This year, we continue this annual tradition of celebrating our Pride, and our community's diversity.
